Hello, I’m Vicky, founder of Seravida Art, a creative space where mindfulness meets mandala art. I’m a mother of two, wife to Julius, and someone who’s always had a love for making and creating.
Over the years, I’ve lived in different parts of the UK and now live in the South West near Bristol. Throughout I have gathered inspiration and experiences that now shape my work.
I studied Furniture at university and built a career in planning, procurement, and project management in furniture production and then in Aerospace. But alongside that, I’ve always been a bit of a jack of all trades — from playing the piano to gardening, sewing, quilting, and furniture upholstery. Creativity has always been part of who I am.
When we adopted our daughter four years ago, I was encouraged to find something mindful I could do just for myself. That’s when I discovered mandala art. It became my way to breathe, to slow down, and to reconnect. I loved that it didn’t require any formal art training — just curiosity, colour, and a willingness to try and experiment. My family means everything to me, and I’ve learned that when I take care of my own mental and emotional wellbeing, it ripples out to them too. Creating art that brings joy and calm isn’t just my passion, it’s part of how I nurture myself and those I love.
Mandala art is simple yet powerful. It’s creative and calming, affordable, and easy to do anywhere — whether you have ten minutes or a few hours. As I dot and paint, my breathing slows, my mind quiets, and I feel more grounded. Over time, it’s given me confidence, boldness with colour, and a sense of peace in the moment that I now love sharing with others.
Through Seravida Art, I help busy people find calm and connection through mindful mandala workshops and artwork. My sessions are for everyone — from teenagers feeling the pressure of school and social media, mothers balancing home and work, employees who need a mindful pause in their day to retirees looking for crafts and accessible art, and for everyone in between.
I believe mindfulness doesn’t have to look one way. Not everyone can do yoga or gardening, but most people can pick up a brush or a dotting tool. Mandala art is for anyone who wants to bring more peace, colour, and creativity into their life.
As a Christian, my approach to mandala art is inclusive and open to all. It’s not rooted in any particular religion, but in the universal need for stillness, reflection, and joy.
May peace flow through my life and work, guiding every step with grace.

The name SeraVida is a merging of 2 words: Serenity and Life.
At the heart of SeraVida Arts is the desire for more peace and serenity in our busy, often overwhelming lives.
The activity of creating mandala art offers the mindful activity of dots and brush strokes, which calm the breathing, allow the mind to focus on repetition and creativity.
Viewing mandala art, it's beauty and symmetry, can also induce a sense of calm.
